Independence day..

Tomorrow there is an NBA game at the place i work boston celtins versus the timberwolves..I should be excited seeing as on my ‘100 things to do before I do’ list has a live NBA game either in Madison square garden or street ball in the bronx(Baz ya dig?). I am not excited because I shall be in the class and being the goody two shoes that I am, I shall seated in the second row from the lecturer next to Prab discussing Management Accounting or just thinking up of ways we can get onto that road labelled financial freedom! So my sincere apologies to..

1.Mr Kevin Garnett

2.Mr.Ray Allen

but I still think this guy is the baddest NBA player right now

3.Mr.Vince Carter

….wud you look at the dunk???

Generally this is how i’m feeling this week..

…about Independence day…I’m writing a letter..you know one of those ‘Dear Mr. President’ letters..maybe when I’m back from celebrating this friday then I might put it up but otherwise..

 *************

So I went to Church over the weekend and this little boy was preaching, I am quite adamant about listening to people younger than me preach the word. He said ‘I hope God talks through me and you hear His voice not mine’ , as a fair player I decided to give him ago..he took the story of the prodigal son and gave it a new twist, not bad…then he  made the most ridiculous allusion mbu ‘people in Africa are thin because of famine’..I almost stood up and walked out in protest but I decided against it. I had hoped to catch him outside and let him know that Africans are not thin because of famine, we are ‘thin’ because we eat organic food, stay active during the day and don’t binge eat unlike some parts in the world where there is nationwide couch potatoing, binge eating and massive consumption of junk food! It’s too bad he dashed off because I was so flippin into Donald Semambo whilst being ushered out of the Church!  I mean where in Africa is bulimia heard of..aneroxia..ok there probably are there, and like famine it is evident in Africa but to bleeding generalise and say ‘in africa people are thin because of famine’..I am at a loss of words…

How is your week going?

..a luta continua..

before I forget I am resigning as special advisor to Uganda’s Numero uno Policeman…

    Hey, Joshi.

Understand this: the West is brain-washed. They keep people complacent with being wage slaves, because they think it is worse in Africa. There, now, is how it works in the West. By the time we realise ours is the best corner of the planet, we’ll all have become bleached anglophones.

Meanwhile … no Kobe? Iverson? Okay, vince Carter is there … Garnett, Ray Allen … good ‘nough. :o)

I get so pissed when I hear such stuff being said about Africa, especially the way it is refered to like one country.

Good Joshi, misses a NBA game for class. Way to go. And goes to Church only to get ticked off by the young preacher (forgiveness is a virtue).
And Africans are hotties- sexy men with naturally toned bodies, and healthy, carveous, non-obese ladies; We know that, so who cares if they dont
